White Opal is a white matte underglaze with small white crystals that fire to a glossy finish, creating a clear to milky white surface.
Pairs well with SW215 Micro Champagne and SW217 Micro Cerulean.
Shake well before use to evenly distribute crystals. Apply 3 smooth, even coats to bisque ware using a soft fan brush, allowing each coat to dry before applying the next. Avoid applying crystals to the bottom of pieces to prevent scratching surfaces; if necessary, apply unstirred glaze or wipe away wet crystals. For darker clay bodies, white coloration is more visible; adjust application thickness for desired opacity.
