This is how I'm doing my test tiles now. They are all a uniform size and thickness (1.5 x 2 before firing). I prop them u against kiln posts with a strip cookie below "just in case". I can store them in a shallow box with the glaze names (usually as a 2-letter abbreviation) for easy viewing and retrieval. As seen in the 2nd image, the layering is a on B and B on A. I put 2 coats of the base glaze and only 1 of the cover glaze. I may not do it that way for a finished piece, but this is eno
