Applied TWO COATS thickly. About a three-inch band on the bottom and on the top of the exterior with intentional wiggles rather than a straight-lined edge, then about a two-inch band on the top of the interior.

Applied all over interior except about an inch from the rim, intentionally a little uneven. Applied about a four-inch thick band overlapping the Black Walnut strips by about an inch each on the exterior.
