Airbrush Autumn Leaf

Still figuring out the airbrush and proper viscosity of underglaze to spray. Hard to say how many layers of underglaze on the leaf because there was a lot of blending and back and forth to get full coverage, a gradient, and some depth to the colors. Single fire (not bisque fired first).

Cone Specification: 5, 6

Colors: beige, cream, white

First Layer

Glaze: Amaco (V) Velvet Underglaze V-308 Yellow Underglaze

Application Method: Spray

Thinned with water, airbrushed over leaf. (Spray also went beyond the leaf, but was covered by opaque glaze so I wasn't worried about being too neat with the airbrushing on the leaf )

Second Layer

Glaze: Amaco (V) Velvet Underglaze V-308 Yellow Underglaze

Thinned with water, partly brushed into veins of leaf, partly dripped on and blown with air from the airbrush, trying to get it to spread into all the tiny veins without covering the whole surface.)
