Lava Rock is probably my favorite Mayco glaze. Under appreciated because I think that people assume it is like a lava texture glaze, but I believe the name is due to it being based on volcanic basal It has the nicest application, dries quick and even. On its own it makes the best silky satin surface. It can make stunning combinations, like this one with Raspberry mist which gets a nice deep purple with a floating pink. Works best on a dark body, but can work on white as well (see 2nd pic)
