I used a cross hatch motion to glaze since it was such a large vase, I find it to be the best way to get an even coat. After the obsidian was applied I used bigger motions while applying the next 2 glazes so there would be more opportunity for motion in the brush strokes. overall I'm extremely happy, but I think I would go with another coat of the Seaweed next time. I've had problems with seaweed running so I left several inches of space between the bottom, but I got zero movement past
